Privacy policy

Effective October 12, 2026

This policy explains what AceRadio ("we", "us") collects when you use aceradio.net, our streams and our games, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: you can listen without an account, we don't sell your personal information, and most of what the site remembers about you stays on your own device.

What we collect

Things you send us

When you use our contact form or email [email protected], we receive what you type: your name and email address if you give them, the topic, your message, and the page you were on. We use this only to read and answer your message.

Saved on your device

The site uses your browser's own storage to remember your favorite stations, playlists, light board paintings and colors, settings, volume and arcade high scores. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Cookies

The site itself doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting company may use basic server logs and security cookies to keep the site running and safe.

Streams and the ads you hear

Our audio streams come from our streaming servers, and the ads you hear inside the streams are placed by our ad delivery partners. Like any internet radio stream, when your device connects to a stream the stream servers receive your IP address, the type of player or device, and how long you listen. This is used to deliver the audio, to count listeners for music royalty reporting, and to choose and measure the ads in the stream, which can include using your approximate location. These partners handle this information under their own privacy policies.

Third-party companies that serve ads may also collect anonymous information about your visits through cookies or web beacons to show relevant ads. To learn more or opt out, visit networkadvertising.org.

Other services the site uses

How we use information

To run the site and streams, count our audience, report music royalties as the law requires, fix problems, keep the site secure, improve what we offer and answer your messages.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information and we don't rent our audience lists. We share information only with the service providers above so they can do their jobs, when the law requires it, or to protect our listeners, our services or our rights. If the business is ever sold or merged, this information would move with it under this same policy.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept for up to two years and then deleted. We don't keep other personal information on our server.

Children

Our sites are for a general audience and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can listen without giving us your name or email. Depending on where you live, including California, Washington and other U.S. states, you may have the right to ask what personal information we have about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, use our contact form or email [email protected] and choose Privacy request. We'll answer within 45 days and won't treat you differently for asking. Our site honors Global Privacy Control signals; since the site itself doesn't track you for advertising, there's nothing extra to switch off here.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit who can reach our systems and keep the information we hold to a minimum. No website can promise perfect security, so please don't send sensitive information like passwords or payment details through the contact form.

Where information is handled

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may handle information in the U.S. and other countries.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
